Overview
The Full-directional Laboratory Ball Mill is an advanced milling system designed for high-tech material processing, including fine grinding, powder mixing, nano-powder preparation, new material development, and small-batch production.
This TENCAN planetary ball mill features a compact footprint, high grinding efficiency, low noise operation, and comprehensive functionality, making it an ideal solution for R&D institutions, universities, and enterprise laboratories.
Equipped with four independent working stations, the mill allows up to four samples to be processed simultaneously, significantly improving laboratory efficiency. When fitted with vacuum grinding jars, the system also supports vacuum or inert atmosphere milling, enabling safe processing of oxygen- or moisture-sensitive materials.
Working Principle
The Full-directional Laboratory Ball Mill is equipped with four grinding jars mounted on a rotating turntable. During operation:

The turntable rotates, driving each grinding jar to revolve around its own axis

Simultaneously, each jar performs a 360° omnidirectional rotation

Grinding media inside the jars generate high-energy impact, friction, and shear forces
This complex planetary motion enables efficient grinding and mixing of materials using dry or wet milling methods. The system can process materials of varying hardness and particle sizes, achieving a minimum particle size down to 0.1 μm.
Due to its uniform energy distribution and absence of dead zones, the mill delivers highly consistent and repeatable grinding results.
