Overview 

 

Cryogenic Laboratory Ball Mill  is a combination of planetary mill and refrigeration equipment. Most materials will heat up the material in the process of high speed grinding because of friction or exothermic reaction, which may lead to the change of physical and chemical properties of the material and produce negative grinding effect. Cryogenic planetary ball mill is mainly applied to material grinding process which requires strict control of temperature.inside the machine.

 

Working Principle 

 

Cryogenic Laboratory Ball Mill has four working positions which can be installed with two or four mill jars on one turntable. When the turntable rotates, the jar axis makes planetary movements at high speed, the balls and materials inside the jars are impacted strongly in high speed movement, and materials are eventually ground into fine powder. Various kinds of different materials can be ground by means of dry or wet grinding method. The smallest granularity of output powder can be reached to 0.1μm or nano scale powder.

Features 

 

Cryogenic Laboratory Ball Mill  is a combination of planetary mill and air cooling device. The air cooling device applies the principle of air conditioning compression and refrigeration. The cooling cycle takes away the heat generated by the grinding quickly. According to the difference of the ambient temperature, the space temperature of the ball milling can be controlled within 5 - 15℃, which is mainly applied to the material requirements under low temperature process for ultra-fine grinding. . The air cooling device has the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation, convenient maintenance and low energy consumption.
